3D-Printed model is bigger than it should be
After printing a model, it is larger than it should be. For instance, I printed a model that measures 107mm in height (Z-axis) for the interior, however the printed part measures 109mm in height.
The axis steps per mm setting in the 3D Printer’s firmware EEPROM settings is set too high. In this case, the Z-axis steps per mm was set to about 423.
Adjust the axis steps per mm for the axis in question to a more appropriate setting. This may be found online from others who’ve seen the same issue or by trial and error.
In this case, another user who had the same printer recommended changing the Z-axis steps per mm to 400, which resolved the issue.
