Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice EVA Foam Armor – FINISHED!
It’s been awhile since the last update on the Batman vs. Superman DOJ foam armor build, but hey I’ve been busy, and also very sleepy. And this is a lot harder than I thought it would be. I don’t know if it’s the files I’m using, or my technique, or both, but the forearms alone took me way more time than I wanted them to.
In the time since the last video in this (what’s going to be a series), I finished cutting, shaping, and gluing the EVA foam pieces for the Batman DOJ armor shoulders, forearm/gauntlets, thighs, calves, and belt. Again, these are created using the same foam that’s used for exercise mats. Amazingly, these are absolutely awesome for cosplay!
I then Mod-Podged (6 times!), plasti-dipped, and painted my way to a finished set of armor. I 3D-printed the helmet, hands, and fins and put it all together with a cape made from leftover monk’s cloth material.
And here is the final result:
And pictures!
