If you're unfamiliar with a wall-dog screw, it's a type of screw that is basically a screw and anchor all in one! The best part about them is that they leave a much smaller hole than a typical anchor - especially in drywall - but still hold securely. It's also far easier to use wall-dog anchors as you don't have to mess with multiple pieces, it's just one screw.
We've found that these are absolutely perfect for mounting collectible displays and other items you'd want to hang on drywall, but don't want to dig a huge hole with a drywall anchor!
Measuring 1 1/4" long, these screws are long enough to hold to drywall or penetrate a stud. They are flat-head, so will stay flush against your collectible display shelf.
- This is an all steel, one-piece screw anchor.
- It features high-profile threads for easy fastening into wallboard and other masonry materials.
- The deep cutting, corkscrew-like threads ensure smooth entry and a strong hold.
- When removed, the screw leaves smaller holes compared to toggles or other systems.
- No pre-drilling is required for fastening into wallboard or wood; simply insert the anchor through the fixture and tighten with a Phillips screwdriver.
- Ideal for light to medium duty anchoring, such as for collectible displays or other in-home needs!
