New AMAZING shelf for 1:64 vehicles thanks to your feedback!
As a passionate collector of Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars, I have always struggled to find the perfect way to display my collection. I wanted something that was both functional and stylish, but nothing on the market quite fit the bill. That's when I decided to take matters into my own hands and create my own solution.
The first iteration of my floating shelf display was functional, but not quite up to my standards. I had designed it with a long tab on the top to hold onto the command strip, but it was really visible from the top and didn't look great. I tried moving it to the bottom, but it was still too visible. Thankfully, my friends on TikTok and Instagram came to the rescue.
Through their input and feedback, I was able to make the necessary adjustments to my design and create a product that I am truly proud of. By changing the tab to a sideways orientation, it became virtually invisible and added a sleek and stylish touch to the overall design.
The final product is a 3D-printed floating shelf display that is specifically designed to fit Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars. As always, it's 3D-printed from durable PLA plastic, so the display is built to last. It also features a slightly angled design that ensures the best possible viewing angle for your cars. The unique tire ridges also prevent the cars from rolling side to side, keeping them securely in place on the shelf.
