However, one customer noted the locking mechanism is loose and labels only detach about a third of the time, requiring repeated feeding.
This is *just* what I was looking for to dispense Noble dissolvable food labels! The cardboard dispenser that they come in just wasn't doing the job. I had to remove the center cardboard roll and unwind my labels a bit to fit this product but then it worked like a charm. Thank you, SuperheroDIY!

First of all, this was packaged very well. Seller took great care in making sure the item was not damaged in transit. Now to the item itself... The label dispenser in made of great materials. It was solid and crafted well, but I think the design needs upgrading. The "locking" mechanism does not stay in place and is loose all of the time. Also, when pulling the roll, the sticker/label doesn't always come off the roll and just rolls past the exit point, still adhered to the roll. I would say it comes off the roll maybe a third of the time. When it fails to come off the roll you have to feed the roll back into the housing and try again, back and forth until it comes off. I think the exit point needs to be thinner and closer to the roll, or have a more cutting edge to force the sticker/label off the roll.
