This is a replica Combat Action Badge built for display. While it's made of plastic, it has a smooth finish on all top surfaces, with custom paint feathering to recreate the subdued pewter badge look. 

It's made to be lightweight (but not look like it) to look sharp on a wall, a desk, or in a shadow box. No heavy metal casting, no wall anchors to fight with.
