This temperature control knob mount replacement fits 2008 to 2013 Toyota Highlander models and restores proper function to your broken or spinning knob. It replaces the internal white plastic hub that connects the knob to the control post inside the dash. 🔧 Pull out the broken piece, insert the needed metal sleeve, pop this in place, and reattach the knob. You're back in business.
🛠️ READ THIS: You absolutely need to keep the original D-shaped metal sleeve that was inside the broken part. This metal insert fits around the post and is what allows the knob to actually grip and turn. Without that piece, this replacement will not work correctly. If you already tossed the broken part, go get it. This sleeve is essential.

Sharp or rough edges can typically be smoothed with a heat gun or hair dryer, lightly softening the plastic then smoothing with a finger or other object.
