Hello there! As stated in the description, you absolutely have to use the original D-ring that is inside the old, broken knob. That reinforces the plastic and ensures a solid fit! Please make sure you use that D-ring and it will work great!

2008 Toyota Highlander Climate Control whole again!

It's been broken for years before I came across Superherodiy YT video of their fix for the A/C control knob.
Their 3D printed part fit like a glove. It took me as long to unpack the part as it did to install the knob with their part.
The new piece looks far more robust than the original.
It shipped fast too.

Climate Control Knob

The Climate Control Knob for my 2008 Highlander worked great. It was designed so I didn't have to disassemble anything. Although the plastic knob that went over the receiving stud was somewhat sloppy at first in operarion. I still had the original broken knob and notice there was a metal insert inside the knob. I
removed it and placed it inside my new knob and all is great now. I may order a second one for the other side when it breaks. Your connection points are way more substantial then the original parts.

The hole was a little too big so I put super glue in it so it wouldn’t come off or have a lot of play and therefore it worked great

Functional but a little wobbly

The piece fits nicely other than a little bit of slop that allows the knob to wiggle back and forth instead of feeling solid like the other knob.

I needed a fix for 2008 Highlander MANUAL climate control. Thought I could adapt your fix. Your fix was too big to fit through knob opening. Had to remove unit from dash and then remove cover from unit, retrive broken knob and glue together. A fix from you would be better, even removing unit from dash which is not that hard.
